I just discovered this rare photo of my maternal 2nd g-grandmother, Elizabeth Ann Carter Griffith, wife of Milton Griffith (2n Lt, CSA), whom I plan to join the Sons of Confederate Veterans under.
I also have a Union soldier, paternal 2nd g-grandfather Johannes Dedrick Sandmann whom I want to join Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War under. He fought at the Battle of Stones River, Murfreesboro, TN 1862-1863.
